SAC is a highly influential committee whose functions are to
advise the school principal on school matters, to deal with issues brought
to the SAC's attention by the school community, and to establish goals and
objectives for the academic year.
The SAC is composed of at least eight voting members consisting
of four parents, four professional school employees, and a senior high school
student.
The SAC also includes certain nonvoting liaison members which
include the school principal, school's officer, a Parent-Teacher Organization
representative, the installation commander (or designee), one member of the
professional bargaining organization, and other student representatives.
